Pitch-Point Shorts – Jerusalem Film Festival & GMFF

Israel

The productive cooperation between the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund and the Jerusalem Film Festival is a longstanding tradition. Alongside films supported by the GMFF that are screened for the first time at the festival, the GMFF and the JFF have joined forces to establish a special initiative for the benefit of the short film industry.
The short film demands an effective and creative exposition expressed through the narrative and language of film. It is not only a significant milestone for young filmmakers, but also offers experienced directors a chance to explore creative ideas and harness their creative, cinematic talent for the benefit of this unique genre.

The Pitch-Point Shorts event, taking place for the third consecutive year, aims to address this need. Seven experienced and acclaimed directors present their new films and compete for a grant of a quarter of a million NIS.
The Gesher Film Fund advances the short film genre through various channels and exclusive initiatives. The partnership with the Jerusalem Film Festival, the most important of its kind, paves the way to affirm the success of the short film worldwide.
