The FTZN-Kollektiv is a queer-feminist collective founded in 2020 in Vienna by Hannah Rang, Benita Martins, Runa Schymanski and Fritzi Wartenberg. The collective’s work is characterized by an uncompromising, honest, and humorous approach to feminist and societal topics. The collective strives to dismantle hierarchies and create fluid boundaries between various fields of work. Their goal is to continuously tackle new challenges while staying true to their radical and humorous signature style. "Blutsschwestern" is the collective’s first short film, extending their feminist ideals and objectives into the realm of cinema. The hallmarks of their collaborative process—honesty, courage to engage in difficult topics, as well as humor—are also evident in "Blutsschwestern". Through their cinematic work, the collective aims to amplify FLINTA* perspectives in the film industry and create a space for alternative storytelling.
