François Morisset

After graduating as a telecommunication engineer, François Morisset (1984, Paris) worked as a consultant and took part in the «Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris» organized by the Film Academy Baden Württemberg and La Fémis. He worked in different production, distribution and world sales companies (Sophie Dulac Production/ Distribution, Coproduction Office, Global Screen, DCM) and on the main film markets (Cannes Film Market, EFM at Berlinale).

Since 2007, he is the managing director of Salaud Morisset, a short film production and distribution company who has established trustful relationship with international festivals (as Cannes, Toronto, Sundance or Locarno) and broadcasters (as Canal+, HBO, ARTE, …).

Kathleen McInnis

A festival programmer, and film strategist/publicist with more than 25 years experience, KATHLEEN McINNIS helps emerging world-cinema filmmakers with business development as they launch careers from the global film festival circuit and cultivate new audiences.

For nearly 30 years, Kathleen has helped discover emerging filmmakers from around the globe. She was a Lead Programmer at Seattle International Film Festival; Festival Director at Slamdance Film Festival; Festival Director at Palm Springs ShortsFest; Programmer for International Shorts at Toronto Int’l Film Festival and most recently, Director of Programming at Aspen Shorts. She is currently the Curator of SIFF’s New Works-In-Progress Forum.

Kathleen has participated as a festival strategist and/or project development mentor at the Buenos Aries Labs, Hot Docs Int’l Film Festival (Canada), Koszalin Film Festival for Debut Filmmakers (Poland), CineMart (International Film Festival Rotterdam) and at Talents during the Berlin Film Festival.

Anne Parent

Manager of the Short Film Market of the Clermont-Ferrand’s International Short Film Festival, one of the world’s most important Short Film Festivals.

Anne Parent studied advertising and communication and worked in the performing arts and events in Paris. In 1996, she joined the Clermont-Ferrand’s founding team. As of today, 35 countries take part in the market’s exhibiting area and it is attended by various professionals in the short film industry, including buyers, distributors and program managers from around the globe.

Erwin M. Schmidt

Erwin M. Schmidt has studied film production and worked in production, international sales and for film festivals and was Wim Wenders’ 3D producer. He has an avid interest in new narrative formats and new distribution channels.

In 2016 he co-founded the Propellor FilmTech Hub, together with the European Film Market of The Berlinale, the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Copenhagen International Documentary Festival. In 2018, together with Oscar nominated producer Gian-Piero Ringel, he co-founded the FilmTech Office, a shared office for creatives and entrepreneurs in film, storytelling and tech. He is an organizer of the monthly FilmTech Meetup Berlin and the programmer of infiniTIFF, a section for new forms of storytelling at Transilvania International Film Festival.
