Ido Weisman.
Thirty years old from Tel Aviv, Israel.
Born, raised and educated in the community village of Nofit, in northern Israel.
Graduated from the Steve Tisch Film School at Tel Aviv University and is currently working on his final film.
Aside from his work as a director, he also works as a cinematographer for short films and various television productions.
He had directed two short documentary films, “Uzzi” (2018, 21 min) and “Horah” (2018, 18 min), as well as a short fiction film “Pool” (2018, 12 min). All three were screened at several festivals, while “Uzzi” and “Pool” also won several awards.
“Uzzi” entered the shortlist selection for “BAFTA Student Film Awards” (May 2019), and was given the: “Best Script award” at the “NYC Short Documentary Film Festival” (March 2019), and the “Audience Choise award” at the “Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival” (Frankfurt, October 2019).
“Pool” won the “Best Film Award” at the “Long-Short Festival” (Tel-Aviv, July 2019) and was screened at many festivals around the world, including :
