Born in Jerusalem in 1990, and raised in a village in the south of Israel. Nitzan graduated with distinction from the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem in 2017.
She now teaches Cinema at Alon High School for Arts in Ramat Hasharon, and at Beer Tuvia High School, and works for the national TV digital channel as a director.
Her first short film, Fair Play, won the directing school award in 2015 and was screened in Europe and Israel. Her graduation film, Cracks, premiered in the Festival du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal in October 2018.
During her studies Nitzan shot 6 short films as DOP, some of which were screened in festivals in Europe and Israel, (Festival Chalon Tout Court, FICGLB, TLVFest).
Following her graduation, Nitzan directed a short documentary film, Home Constructors, that premiered in the Haifa Film Festival in October 2018.
Nowadays Nitzan is working on Fata Morgana, a short independent fiction film that she is also producing,
