Efrat Rasner was born on July 11th, 1987 in Israel. She is a graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School. Her graduation film Out of Reach (2016) screened at many film festivals around the world, winning a number of international awards. Third Look (2019) was the recipient of the Shorts on the Way Production Award, given by the Tel Aviv Student Film Festival and Gesher Film Fund. The film screened at many film festivals around the world, including Palm springs shortfest, Slamdance and more. Foreign (2023) her recent short film, has been supported by the Arava Film Fund and Gesher film fund.
