Based in Belgium, of South African and Moroccan origin, Talia is screenwriter and filmmaker of documentary and fiction. A recent graduate in film directing from the Institute of Diffusion Arts (IAD), she has also worked in independent film production and distribution in London and Brussels. She also has a law degree and a master's degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Glasgow. Talia is currently developing a web series, inspired by the Take Back the Night movement, produced by MELOCOTON FILMS (Paris) as well as a musical. ON MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS IN TIMES OF INJUSTICE is her graduation film, it has toured the worlds' festivals and is shortlisted at the Magrittes du Cinéma (Belgian Oscars).
