Oriel Berkovits was born in Jerusalem. He started working as an illustrator and animator at the age of 16. He graduated from the animation department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2013. Oriel’s graduation project "Tzadik" won the music award at Athens Animfest, and has since been screened at many film festivals worldwide.
