Twin Sisters is a family drama short film which we created in collaboration. In our process we tried to deal with our greatest fear - the disintegration of the family by the inevitable death. After directing our first short films apart, we turned to create a short in collaboration. Twin Sisters is a film by two directors, working and exploring the love of family and of cinema.

Ori Arthur Wolf was born in 1996 in Herzliya. He studied Theater at Yigal Alon high school of arts. During his military service he acted, produced and directed independent theater productions. Today, he is a bachelor’s student at the Steve Tisch Film and Television School, Tel-Aviv University. Alongside screenwriting and directing, Ori is a casting director, and directed the independent short film competition at the Tel-Aviv international student film festival 2022. His first short film, Sick Leave, is in distribution and so is his second short film, Twin Sisters, which he wrote and directed in partnership with Yael Shmuelov. Yael Shmuelov was born in 1995 in Tel Aviv. She studied cinema at Ironi Alef high school of arts. After her military service, she studied scriptwriting led by Moshe Zonder. Yael excelled in academic film studies at the Open University and is currently a bachelor's student at the Steve Tisch Film and Television School, Tel Aviv University. In addition, directed the Israeli competition of the Tel-Aviv international student film festival 2021. Twin Sisters is the second short film she wrote and directed, in partnership with Ori Wolf. Jan and Jimi, her first short film, is in distribution.
