The medium of animation can have multiple shapes and colours where each story can be told in its own format. I prefer filmmaking when it's about conveying emotions. Images and sounds can bring up a situation and create a moment with out naming it. My main topics are mostly linked to human relationships and the observation of beautiful details in the most trivial everyday lives.

Nathan Pierard grew up in Liège (Belgium) where he studied illustration at L’École Supérieure des Arts de la Ville de Liège. He discovered animation through a workshop organized by the studio Camera-etc and decided to make it the subject of his practice. He then joined the school of La Cambre in Brussels where he made his first animated short Bite the bullet. He graduated in 2025 with his short film Composition for Processing Distance.
