Nandi Nastasja, born in 1997 in Mönchengladbach, Germany, completed her BA in Directing at Ludwigsburg in 2024. She received a scholarship from the Namibia Initiative, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Baden-Württemberg, which allowed her to create the short film Stray Flower. This film premiered at the 44th Max Ophüls Film Festival. Additionally, her play Growth, co-developed with author Lili Roesing, premiered at the Landestheater Schwaben during the 2022/23 season. Nandi concluded her studies with the short film Cherry on Top, which premiered at the 42nd Torino Film Festival.
