Mona Rizaj, born in Vienna, studied fine Arts, time based media, in Hamburg. Currently she studies „Critical Studies“ at Akademie of fine Arts Vienna. She is part of an collective called „ Experimentelle Klasse“. They working at the interface between fine arts and theory, focused on the queer feminist and intersectional Topics. In her artistic work she’s focused on stories of migration form a part of her albanian family from Kosovo and the intergenerational trauma. Listening is a part her artistic work to understand and process narratives and memories.
