Mo Jäger is a humble, well-prepared and well-organized director, with the ability to make people comfortable. Her bound to the actors and actresses is remarkable and due to her long career as an assistant director and now producing on her own, she understands the production site of filmmaking as well as the creative one.

Mo Jäger studied directing at the KHM in Cologne. Since 2017, she has been making films together with Melissa Isabell Jäger, who studied production and screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin. Together they write for their joint company - Jägerinnen GbR - and in various writers rooms for ZDF and ARD. Mo Jäger's films are diverse, extreme, political, romantic and mostly revolve around characters who have not yet found their place in the world. Writing has taken on a high priority in recent years, in which she deals intensively with her characters, their perspectives, stereotypes and reservations and thus her own, trying to reshape them in the process. With great humility towards the cinema, she hopes to encourage the viewers of her films in an entertaining way to think, maybe rethink and be open to new perspectives and impulses.
