Bio: Having worked under UK producer David Heyman, Maria has been across projects such as Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and ‘David Yates’ “Fantastic Beasts”. With previous experience as an assistant director on a vast array of sets including “Kingsman”, ”Mary Magdalene” and “War Machine”, Maria is well acquainted with the process of filming, which has honed her passion for creating her own content. She has just completed her directorial debut “Motherhood”. A short film about a woman ending a pregnancy and the challenges this decision brings to her self-perception as a 'caring' female. Maria is currently in Pre-Production for a second Short Film "Just NO", working with Producer Juliet Kirby from Aluna Entertainment. Simultaneously, she is developing a feature-length script and several other Projects.
