Was born in the former Soviet Union and spent his childhood at a government-built caravan site for immigrants. Many of his short films portray those caravan sites and deconstruct the immigration experience. His short films were screened worldwide. His feature script was accepted to JSFL and won first place at the Haifa FF International Pitching. A graduate of the Mandel Fund leadership program and a recipient of the Fulbright scholarship for MFA in dramatic writing at NYU.
