Hannah Wolny was born in 1996 in Nuremberg. Spending a couple of years abroad sparked her interest in street photography and documentary film making. She directed and edited documentaries for a German film production company. Since 2019, she has been studying Directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, where she was able to deepen her understanding of documentary film making whilst also falling in love with fictional story telling.
