I explore stories in which space resonates with memory and trauma. I am drawn to marginal spaces that exist outside the boundaries of society, places that hold the potential for intimate and emotionally charged encounters that bring forbidden desires to the surface. The intersection of nature, human vulnerability, and danger fascinates me, and through my work I seek to investigate these spaces on emotional, aesthetic, and dramatic levels.

Gidi Herman is a filmmaker and film student at Tel Aviv University. His work includes *Doll*, which screened at the Tel Aviv LGBTQ Film Festival, *British Pool*, his latest film, which was selected for the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival.
