Eric Francisco Bitencourt is a German-Brazilian filmmaker living in Berlin. They attended the Film Studies course for artists in exile of University of Arts Berlin (UdK) and finished the Masters degree of screenwriting at the international filmschool of Cologne (ifs koeln). "Uncanny Home" is their directoral debut, done with the mentorship of Sara Fazilat (Holy Spider) after being awarded the Berlin Queer Film Fund 2022 of XPOSED Film Festival. Eric was picked by the Kuratorium junger deutscher Film to develop their first feature film "Brueder auf Zeit"', currently in development stage.
