The film tries to capture this hanging feeling between a past that cannot let you go and a future that is hard to grasp. projecting light on the refugee crises inside a camp where waiting is destiny, privacy is lie and through the fences the outside world is hard to see clear.

Dyaa Naim was born in Syria. He pursued studies in economics at the University of Damascus and acting at the Teatro Institute of Drama, although he did not complete either degree. He participated in installations and art projects at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee as part of a foundation study program. Since 2019, he has been studying directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. In 2017, his experimental work ‘Crevices’ Won numerus praises. In 2020, his project ‘From the In and Outside’ received funding from Amnesty and was shortlisted in the competition at Film fest Hamburg. His works have also been featured in other film festivals. He is currently working on his first poetry collection, which explores the relationship between identity and remembrance, and his mid-length film 'Salty Tounges' funded by the German broadcaster rbb is set to the festival evaluation.
