From the south of France, I decided to join the school of ESEC in October 2020 after five years of studying film theory, in order to put what I’ve learned into practice. I like to place characters within a realistic framework that hides a dreamlike universe. Staging moments that testify to the "extraordinarily ordinary", constantly questioning ourselves if what we see is real, if it belongs to memory or to fantasy… without necessarily providing an element of response. In the creation of scenes, I like to stage moments of life and let the audience have his own interpretation of the characters, their backgrounds and what will happen next. Intimacy, memories, melancholy, disillusion, frustration are themes that are dear to me. With delight, I find them in the cinematic world of Tom Ford, Jeff Nichols, James Gray, but also, Leos Carax, Joachim Trier or Claude Sautet. Bittersweetness is my first film, one that I hope, in his simplicity, will embark viewers in a day-like dream.
