Bar Mayer is a film director and cinematographer based in Paris. She completed her BA in Photography at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, and holds an MFA in Film and Television from Tel Aviv University. Her short film Blind Spot was nominated in the student competition at the DocAviv Film Festival in 2023. Her debut feature film, an Israeli-German co-production developed through the NFCT's documentary program for Israeli and Palestinian women directors and the Jacobs Burns Film Center, is currently in post-production. The project is produced by Daroma Film Production and supported by ARTE, Bavarian RB Television, Midarom Film Fund, the Rabinowitz Foundation, and Yes Docu.
