Bio: At the age of 14 Andreas started making his own short films. CAMOUFLAGE, a film about homophobia in the German army, was part of the official selection of Palm Springs Int. Short Fest, Frameline 39, IFF Reykjavik and many others. BLIND AUDITION, about two violinists being a couple and competing for the solopart of an orchestra was in competition at the TRIBECA Film Festival, shortlisted for the student BAFTA and nominated for the German Short Film Award. SINKENDE SCHIFFE, a short about domestic violence, premiered at the 41st Max Ophüls Prize, won the Baden-Württemberg Shortfilm Award and was sold to arte-television. NAKAM is Andreas' diploma film at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. It premiered at the 46th Cleveland International Film Festival and won the award for Best Live Action Short.
