Alma Ben-Zeev is 31 years old. She was born and raised in Tel Aviv and currently lives in the Galilee. She is an Academy Award-winning actress for her role in the television series “Rosh Gadol" a role she played for three seasons. She has acted in many TV series as well as the Fringe Theater. Today, Alma stands mostly on the other side of the camera, as a producer and director. She has produced two short films screened at international festivals as well as TV shows, and is currently focusing on her own personal work. Her documentary about the phenomenon of nightmares during pregnancy premiered on Channel 8. Alma Ben-Zeev directed the Perlov Foundation, which has been awarding a production grant to a selected documentary film project every year since 2003. The foundation is named after Alma's grandfather, David Perlov, laureate of the Israel Prize and one of the forefathers of documentary cinema in Israel. Alma Ben Zeev is a graduate of the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Tel Aviv (2015), and a Forth-year student at the Steve Tisch Film School at Tel Aviv University.
