APACH – Ateliers de Productions Audiovisuelles Coopératifs de la HELB (Haute école libre de Bruxelles) was founded in 1990. Their creation was a response to the school’s need for a production tool aimed at enabling students to produce, in a spirit of cooperation, exercises and graduation films under optimum conditions of fairness, security and legality.
They quickly became the driving force behind the school’s pedagogical development, enabling the creation of original and ambitious exercises.
Numerous Ateliers productions have been selected for festivals and/or sold to television channels.
In this way, they ensure the circulation, distribution and preservation of films. APACH produces over 12 graduation films, some thirty fiction and documentary productions, and more than 40 collective exercises each year.
