Sam studied at film schools in Edinburgh and Bangalore. He previously made the interactive film Grandfather’s Century and the audiovisual installation Undercurrent. He also followed a volunteer in a Greek refugee camp for the short documentary In The Right Place. Sam's next project is LATER, a short documentary about the late effects of childhood cancer, which he is co-directing with Annick Sickinghe.
