Ido Gotlib, an uprising German film director, was born in 1999 in Haifa, Israel. His stories vary in topics of identity, mental health, queer lens on masculinity, relationship with death and many more. Currently pursuing his studies in directing at Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF since 2020. His latest film, Power of the Mirror, is an anticipated project co-produced by 3sat TV and ZDF. As Gotlib's graduation film, it is set to enter the festival circuit following the success of his previous student work, Fragments of Us, which garnered international attention.
