Eva-Maria Schauer was born on November 15, 1999 in Bruchsal. After graduating from high school in 2018, she began her bachelor's degree in cross-media journalism/public relations at the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart. After graduating, she decided to pursue a postgraduate degree at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where she has been studying journalistic film since September 2022. She also works as a radio news anchor at SWR and completed further training as a presenter at the Institut für Moderation in Stuttgart. Since then, she has also worked as a freelance presenter. As a filmmaker, she primarily deals with psychological, social and religious issues. Her previous films have been shown at the Filmschau Baden-Württemberg, the trinational SHORTS Festival Offenburg and the Grenzland Festival in Selb.
