Doron Neeman began his career as an actor. After a play he wrote won first place at a festival in Tel Aviv, he pursued studies in screenwriting and filmmaking. During his studies, he directed three short films: Waiting, Sweet Dream, and The Tragedy of the Lady, which won Best Student Film at the North Hollywood Film Festival. After completing his studies, Doron wrote and directed the film Forbidden Holiness, and a year later, he directed Kidney Trial, based on his personal story.
