I am a screenwriter and an independent filmmaker based in Mumbai India. I was born and brought up in a small village in North India and moved to the city for better life while working on the different jobs in the city I started doing Theatre and Acting. Auditioning for films and reading scripts inspired me to write stories about my experiences and observations from rural India and the underprivileged who stays in the cities. I wrote , directed and produced my first short film RAAKH- ASHES. This film turned out to be my film school. The film got selected and received an overwhelming response at many international film festivals. Visiting these film festivals broadened my horizon towards film making and ever since I have been constantly trying to make my craft better.
