Maya is a film and theater director and a former dancer. She holds a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Theater Directing and an MFA in Documentary Cinema. Her film Block (2026), winner of First Prize at the Student Pitching at Docaviv, was officially selected for the Epos Film Festival, InShadow - Lisbon ScreenDance Festival, and the Jerusalem International Women’s Film Festival. Holding On (2024) received an Honorable Mention in the Israeli Short Films Competition at TLVFest and won Second Place in the Short Film Competition at Cinema South Festival.
