Are you a filmmaker looking for practical guidance to navigate the film industry? The TalentBridge is a new training series for emerging filmmakers.
Choose between affordable online workshops or immersive in-person training (or a mixture of both), aimed at helping filmmakers develop expertise in film distribution, career development, and professional networking.
We’re looking for directors, screenwriters, producers, and creative teams – whether you’re a film school graduate, self-taught filmmaker, or director-producer partnership – with 1-3 short films behind you, ready to take your next professional steps into the industry.
Unlike traditional programs, the online portion of TalentBridge offers five independent, affordable 4-hour workshops you can attend based on YOUR current needs. Online workshops require no lengthy applications and no rigid cohort commitment. Choose one session or all five – it’s your path to build.
In addition, our in-person workshops will take place throughout the year, in partnership with the Baltic Pitching Forum, International Short Film Festival Cyprus, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market – Talents Connexion, Encourage Film Talent, and SFC | Rendez-vous Industry, as part of the Cinéma de Demain at the Festival de Cannes. A hybrid in-person and online workshop will also take place during ShorTO Film Market. These in-depth, multi-day workshops will immerse participants in the short film world, meeting a variety of professionals and learning how to navigate the festival world as a filmmaker.
Each workshop is led by T-Port’s Managing Director, Amos Geva, alongside a rotating roster of industry experts including fund representatives, producers, sales agents, technology specialists, and diversity consultants. Learn in focused small groups (places are limited) where your voice is heard and your questions are answered.
Supported by the Creative Europe MEDIA program and the German Federal Film Board (FFA), these workshops represent the next evolution in our mission to nurture the newest generation of film talent, facilitating your journey into the professional film industry.
We will send out opportunities for you to join the workshops throughout the year. Sign up to our newsletter so that you don’t miss out on any of the deadlines.
