Born in Brussels, Luna Filippini grew up in a family of artists. With a mother who made candles and a father who was a sculptor and poet, she learned to draw by observing them. Luna first studied graphic design at ESA St-Luc in Brussels before moving on to study animation cinema at La Cambre ENSAV. Her first film was released in 2019, The Little S****, an adaptation of Andersen’s tale The Little Mermaid. Her second film, Hervé's case, was released in 2023.
