2020 summary

To say that 2020 has been a challenging year for the film industry, would be an understatement.

Despite the challenges we had faced this year, we are more proud than ever to support emerging film talents worldwide, as well as organizations sharing the same goals and values.

We would like to thank you for supporting T-Port, and glad to share with you some of our main achievements this year.

T-Port Lighthouse – For the first time we launched our curated section by professional guest programmers, co-funded by Creative Europe Media. Future edition coming soon in 2021!
Industry activity
We represented T-Port talents and their films in over 15 industry events, festivals and panels we co-organized or participated in (including
TSFM, OberhausenCannes).
New partnerships – 12 film schools and industry partners joined T-Port as content partners to showcase their films and talent online from France, Poland, Columbia, Turkey and more.
Unique industry opportunities for T-Port filmmakers – Through our network and in collaboration with organizations such as ESP, Les Arcs, and more, we provided more opportunities for our talent.
Online festival activities & services – We offered online solutions for different industry organizations to host events online – including ESP and TISFF.

2020 by numbers

 

2020 Traffic increased 3 times more, comparing to previous year

  • 60,000 entries 
  • More than 36,000 visitors
  • More than 2,000 hours of films viewed 
  • 400 new films uploaded
125 successful matchmaking and interaction between professionals and filmmakers, leading to distribution deals, festival selections and more.
 

Over 400 films on
T-Port showcased in major film festivals 
including Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, Sundance, Locarno and others. More than 25 films on T-Port were nominated to the Oscar’s.
More than 2000 industry professionals & filmmakers in our online community, and 600 registered decision-makers in the platform.
