T-Port Marketing Coordinator – Job Opportunity

 

T-Port is an innovative non-profit online platform aimed at promoting emerging talent and facilitating the distribution of short films within the professional film industry. The platform hosts +1200 titles, including award-winning films and top-festival selections. We focus on creating a link between emerging talents and industry professionals and hold partnerships with more than 40 leading international film institutions (festivals, distributors, sales agents, etc.). T-Port is an independent non-profit association based in Berlin, supported by Creative Europe MEDIA program (EU), the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund and by our founding partner, Tel-Aviv University.

T-Port is looking for a Marketing Coordinator on a freelance basis to manage our marketing strategy and promotional activities as of April 1, 2022.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement a marketing strategy for our organization and partners. 
  • Manage social media platforms – You are in charge of creating engaging and relevant content, building targeted campaigns and events, analyzing performance and engagement data, and identifying trends to successfully grow and manage an online community. Primarily with primarily Facebook and Instagram. 
  • Coordinate and manage Newsletter & Blog – in collaboration with the team, you plan, build and update the content for our publication and promotions on films and filmmakers in our newsletter and blog, including updates, interviews, ‘filmmakers spotlights’ and highlighted films. You will work with and on our design templates to produce the promotional materials. 
  • Support marketing campaigns – you contribute to our communication efforts, in charge of drafting promotional texts and copywriting for different publications (per need). 

Profile

  • At least 2 years of experience working in marketing or communication, preferably within the film industry. 
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns and working with marketing tools – audience building & targeting, Meta Ads Manager & Business Manager, Facebook analytics, and automated newsletter tools (e.g. Mailchimp). 
  • A passion for cinema and promoting emerging talent. 
  • Ability to work in a team set up, adaptive to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Organised and with strong attention to detail.
  • Interested & able to work as part of a remote team – Able to self-structure and time manage, independent initiative, prioritize effectively to deliver on key goals. 
  • Knowledge in graphic design software (e.g. Photoshop/Illustrator) and/or video editing programmes is an advantage.

General terms

  • Capacity: approx. 12 weekly hours based on a self-employed contract for a minimum of 6 months with a possibility for an extension. 
  • Location: Europe-based. Within Germany is an advantage (work is remote). 
  • Salary to be discussed based on experience and German film industry standards.
