Director's Statement: The source of the inspiration of this story was apathy and indifference, that grew stronger with everything that I did, from my involvement with cinema through my religious and spiritual connections. These issues along with the conflicts I had between working in film and being a spouse and father created questions for me: in what direction do I want my life to go, and what are the things that really matter to me? From this place I wanted to create a film about a man who is in the midst of a breakdown, both professionally and personally, trying to understand what his problems are in the hope of finding inner peace. The epic journey genre is a particular favorite of mine, which led me to take my protagonist on an unplanned journey with a bunch of people who on the one hand are very aware of their beliefs but on the other hand, are a little out of their depth in the real world.
