Vivian Bausch studied in Vienna and Linz at the University of Art and Design, including as a student of experimental filmmaker Gustav Deutsch. She is represented with video installations, performance art, documentary film and feature film in various exhibitions in Linz, Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam and Athens. In 2020 she began her diploma studies in directing and editing at the HFF Munich. With her master's thesis "Zuhause bei meinen Müttern" (40 min/ documentary film) she already approached the subject of family, remembrance and reconstruction of memory. The film premiered at the Crossing Europe Festival 2021. She recently celebrated her first debut as a cinematographer with the feature film "Para:Dies" at the Max Ophüls Preis film festival.
