Thomas Marciano is a Film Director and Artist based in Bolzano/Bozen. He was admitted at the Vienna Film Academy (Filmakadamie Wien), in 2017, where he studied directing and production sound. In September 2023, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree. In spring 2024, Thomas completed an Erasmus programme in ‘Art+Research and Collaboration’ at the IADT (Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology) in Ireland, during which his short documentary LIEBER ZANNI was shown at the DIAGONALE Film Festival in Graz. His last short film ECHO won the First Steps Award 2024 for best middle length film in Berlin.
