Thomas Marciano was born in Brixen - South Tyrol in 1997. In 2017 he was admitted at the Vienna Film Academy, where he studied directing and production sound. In September 2023, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree. In spring 2024, Thomas completed an Erasmus programme in ‘Art+Research and Collaboration’ at the IADT (Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology) in Ireland, during which his short documentary LIEBER ZANNI was shown at the DIAGONALE Film Festival in Graz. His last short film ECHO won the FIRST STEPS AWARD for the best middle length film in 2024.
