What interests me in a drawing is when it conveys a sense of movement and ephemerality. Animation is the medium that brings them together. I tend to emphasize the overall atmosphere of the image, and try to make it as immersive as possible.

Sophia Mac Mahon is a Belgian 2D animator and aspiring animation film director. She studied at the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard in Belgium. In her work, she places great importance on the atmosphere of the image, which she strives to make heavy and immersive. Her animation preferences lie in more traditional renderings. Keeping animation as her main medium, she also devotes herself to other art forms as engraving, writing, drawing, etc.
