As a child, Shmuel moved to Israel from New York and grew up in the city of Beit Shemesh. At age 21 Shmuel was drafted to the digital unit in the IDF as a military cinematographer and director. Shmuel is a graduate of the Aspaklaria theater and works at various high schools with seniors as a drama instructor. Shmuel graduated the Maaleh Film School in 2025. “King of Shlock” is his graduation documentary. Today Shmuel runs a digital media business for commercial and social media.
