Shmuel Elmaleh is an Israeli-American filmmaker living in Jerusalem. At age 21 Shmuel was drafted to the digital unit in the IDF as a military cinematographer and director. Shmuel completed four years of full-time study at the Maaleh film school, and is graduated January 2025. “We the People” is his graduating Live Action short. Shmuel is also a graduate of the Aspaklaria theater and works at various high schools with seniors as a drama instructor. Additionally, he runs a digital media business for commercial and social media.
