Bio: Saverio Cappiello was born in Bitonto (BA) on 06 December 1992. After graduating in Liberal Arts, he moved to Milano to study at Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti. In 2017 he graduated with a thesis in Anthropology and Documentary Cinema. In the same year he made his first documentary “Jointly Sleeping in Our Own Beds” presented in the Satellite section at the 53rd Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro. Subsequently he shoot “Mia sorella” which was premiered at the Milano Film Festival where it won the audience award and was a finalist for the David di Donatello 2020. In 2021 he won the Venice Film Week with the short “Celentano’s Seasickness ”. In 2022 he made “Faccia di cuscino”.
