Nicolas started out working as a theatre teacher and assistant director at various theatres in Germany. He went on to study media art and design at the Bauhaus University Weimar. Since 2021, he has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Nicolas is a scholarship holder of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation and attended the 2023 film school La Fémis in Paris.
