Neta Benyamini is an award-winning director from Tel Aviv, Israel. She graduated from the Sapir School of Audio and Visual Arts in 2022 with honors. Her student film, Paradise Expres tells the story of a daughter who accompanies her terminally ill mother to a euthanasia in Switzerland. Paradise Express premiered at the Girona Film Festival and was nominated for the screenplay award at the Watersprite Film Festival. Consistently striving to be a good daughter while simultaneously fantasizing about being a perfect mother, Neta wrote Paradise Express based on her and her mother’s real-life story. Neta is currently developing an original drama series for television, exploring similar themes, and her second short film, Finale, recently received a development grant.
