Narges Kalhor, born in 1984 in Tehran, is an Iranian-German filmmaker. She studied directing in Iran under Abbas Kiarostami. Her films explore identity, exile, and politics. Her feature SHAHID premiered at the Berlinale 2024, winning major awards. In 2026, her short film LOVE YOUR NAILS! screened at the Berlinale, continuing her experimental and feminist approach to cinema.
