Bio: Mila Elois Holl was born in Cologne in 1997. Already in elementary school she was very passionate about film and cinema and grew up with Asian and Bollywood films. Through her parents' film distribution and production work, an early exposure to cinema took place and Mila herself began making her own short films at a young age. She also often accompanied her parents to film festivals in Europe. Since 2019 she has been studying film at Hfg Offenbach. Her work is wide-ranging: Mila explores different disciplines - from feature film, genre film, video and sound installations, to green screen experiments. In doing so, she moves more and more in an experimental, installative direction and away from the classic feature film - with the attempt to find new ways of expression that break with conventional viewing habits.
