Bio: Michael Erik Brink (1996) is a Danish writer and director born in Roskilde. He has written and directed short films since 2016, with his latest work being the personal and character-driven Boner Boy (2023). Michael is a student at Multiplatform, Storytelling and Production at VIA Film & Transmedia, and has spent the last few years getting closer to his own personal voice and artistic identity. Michael has a passion for creating films with an authentic nerve, relatable characters and a strong visual language. He seeks to use his own personal experiences to tell honest and moving stories that will hopefully leave the audience with a recognizable and physical experience. For Micael, movies are like an extra eye through which we can see the world together. Like a magnifying glass that you can put over anything to create new perspectives - in yourself, in others and in the world around us.
