Matthias Krepp works in a constant and long-lasting collaboration with cinematographer Angelika Spangel and editor/producer Dominic Kubisch. The three of them met at Vienna Film Academy and created short, mid-length and feature-length projects during their studies, as well as documentaries for Austrian Television ORF together.

Matthias Krepp is an Austian director. He studied Comparative Literature and History, and was later accepted into the directing-class of Michael Haneke at Vienna Film Academy. During his studies he directed several short films in collaboration with Angelika Spangel and Dominic Kubisch. His documentary debut Sand and Blood premiered in Locarno Film Festival 2017.
