Maria Tsioli, born in Athens in 1999, made her directorial debut at the age of 17, with her film Victoria (3rd Prize in the European section for young filmmakers, 17 th Olympia IFF/Camera Zizanio). Assist (World premiere at Sarajevo IFF) is her graduation film. Currently, she is developing her short film Passage. She holds one degree in Film Television Directing by Stavrakos Film School and a BA in Archaeology History of Art by the UOA. Maria has been selected to participate in the Directors Summit of the 18th Generation of Sarajevo Talents, 30th SFF 2024.
