American-Canadian-Israeli Director and screenwriter, born and raised in Tel-Aviv. Graduated the film department at TAU. "Any little Thing" (2010) her first student short screened in numerous film festivals among them Raindance and Palm Springs. Her award-winning graduation short film "Martha Must Fly" (2011) premiered at Cannes Cinefondation, and won "Most Promising Artist" at the Women’s Film Festival in Israel that same year. Her first feature "The Other Widow", currently in post-production, was developed during Cannes Cinefondation residency, and was produced with the support of the Israeli film fund, CNC and Ile de France. In recent years, Ma'ayan has worked in the Art Department on various films.
